Therapy Fees
Standard sessions run for 50 minutes, allowing 10 minutes of administration and note taking time at the end of your session.
The fee for a standard Medicare or privately funded sessions is $250.
With a valid Mental Health Care Plan, the medicare rebate is $141.85, which leaves the out of pocket cost at only $108.15.

Under the Medicare scheme, if you have a mental health care plan from your GP, you are eligible for 6 individual psychology sessions. After a review by your referring GP, you may be eligible for a further 4 sessions. These sessions are granted during a 12-month period.
If you have a mental health care plan, your Medicare rebate will be processed for you on the day of your appointment, and your refund should appear in your nominated bank account within 1-2 business days.

Fees are guided by the Australian Psychological Society.
The Australian Psychological Society National Schedule of Suggested Fees 2024-2025 has the standard 46 to 60-minute consultation fee at $311.

Please note we are not able to offer bulk-billing services.
We are not currently taking TAC or Workcover clients at this time.

Assessment Fees
​
1. Cognitive Assessment / Intellectual Disability Assessment:
Consists of an online survey sent to carers and the school, and a Weschler Intelligence scale conducted in the clinic.

2. Educational / Specific Learning Disorder Assessments:
Consists of an online survey sent to carers and schools, a Weschler Intelligence Scale (WISC/WAIS) and the Wechsler Individual Academic Test Scale (WIAT), as well as the Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing (CTOPP) conducted in the clinic.

3. Attention Deficit / Hyperactive Disorder Assessments:
Consists of an online survey sent to carers and schools, a Weschler Intelligence scale (WISC/WAIS/WPPSI) conducted at the clinic, and the Diagnostic Interview for ADHD (DIVA).

Unfortunately, this service does not qualify for rebate under Medicare, however, a rebate may be available under private health cover. Please check with your fund.

Quoted costs are based on standard average hours for testing and report preparation and may vary depending on time requirements due to individual needs.

Supervision Fees
​
Inner Work Psychology offers high quality psychology supervision and training. We offer Clinical supervision to registered psychologists, graduate psychologists who require a period of supervision for endorsement (via the Registrar Program), and other mental health professionals in private practice.
The fee for individual supervision with one of our Board approved supervisors is currently $220 per hour (plus GST).
